620 built and still owns the original Medina county mini-storage units. The first were built in 1972 as block with truss roofs. The most recent have been block with pre-engineered roof systems. 620 created their own hybrid of building system, taking advantage of the masonry for durable, bearing walls and the pre-engineered standing seam roof system for the best roof system possible. 620 also experimented with different types of dividing walls including 2x4’s with plywood to all steel 22 gauge decking. The building represents the ability to blend building methods to achieve the best results for the project. Today, 620 offers over 300 storage units in 19 different size units of unheated mini-warehouses in addition to their full office/warehouse units and retail space.
